So today I had my interview to be a captain, basically a servant leader, this summer. I ended up having the Youth Pastor’s secretary interview me, which made things a little more relaxed since I know her pretty well. I just got a text from my youth pastor.
He wants to interview me to be a summer captain. Which would mean that I would lead a group of other teenagers in leading a backyard bible club. I don’t know why, but i’m shaking…i’m not sure if it’s because i’m excited or nervous. My Mom: Looks like somebody is having a party.
Me: Nope, she's just buying it to buy it.
Mom:
Me: She's just like me. When I have a family, I'm just going to buy party supplies on a whim. Like the whole shebang of party hats, plates, streamers, a pinata, and a birthday cake. When my kids ask what it's for, i'll simply ask what they are talking about. When they ask why the cake says happy birthday, i'll just say, "and your point is...?". Or when we are eating off of birthday plates and they ask why, "The real question is, why not?".

Mission Trip or Florida...
So I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to either inner city New Orleans, or Haiti. Both trips are at the time that I would possibly be going to Florida, but to be completely honest I would rather go on a mission trip. I’m not sure what to do yet, so I have a lot of praying ahead of me.

This is the third time I have been sick this year.
And this year as in since January 1, 2012. My doctor wants my parents to schedule a blood test soon to test for possible Mediterranean Anemia and Vitamin D deficiency, yayy. I am thankful now, more than ever, that I’m homeschooled because I’m not missing school.
